About Green Leben Initiative
Zukunft Fuer Das Leben GuG (ZfL-Germany) the initiator of the Green Leben Initiative (GLI) as a social business for sustainable livelihoods of the marginalised in the society. Our ultimate objective is to consolidate wealth creation and the capacity of Africa’s agricultural value chain by optimising high-value crops (HVC) such as onions, ginger, garlic, cashew, mushrooms, Aquaponic farming for fish and vegetable, etc, to create sustainable wealth for African smallholder farmers.
Zukunft Fuer Das Leben was formed in December 2015 as a Social Business organisation to empower the marginalised in the society and have undertaken many transformational projects.
The Green Leben Initiative (GLI) is designed to sync with the “Marshall Plan with Africa,” by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development which is advocating for a new partnership between Africa and Europe.
GLI currently has a presence in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Uganda, South Sudan and Sierra Leone.
ZfL started in 1995 as a not-for-profit helping stranded immigrants in Germany to resettle and reintegrate.
In 2015 ZfL was officially incorporated in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock-Germany as a social business with the objective of providing more economically empowering and sustainable solutions to our programme beneficiaries, particularly African in the diaspora.
we are driven by a strong passion for an emerging Africa and our vision is to create an Africa that is less reliant on others for economic sustenance.

2015
Zukunft feur das Leben was formally incorporated as a Social Business to empower the marginalised section of society, through transformational projects, particularly in the areas of migration and immigrant integration. Above is ZfL receiving the Citizens Awards from the German FDP party.
2018
The Green Leben Initiative was birthed as an integrated agricultural programme aimed at tapping into the vast agricultural resources in Africa. We officially became partners of the Hemp Association of Ghana and Hempire Agric Ghana Limited.
2019
Established strategic partnerships with modern commercial farming companies, technical partners and precision agriculture consultants from Europe, the USA, Pakistan and Africa.
2020 – 2021
Made first shipment of onions from partners in Germany to Ghana, commenced securing land banks and priority crops in Ghana, Benin, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda. Initiated agricultural training and mentoring programme.
